Elephant Auto Insurance announced today a one year sponsorship with the American Heart Association (AHA) in Richmond, Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Elephant will be the title sponsor of the organization’s social media campaigns designed to raise awareness and generate participant content and engagement for their signature events: The Richmond Heart Walk, the Richmond Heart Ball and the Go Red for Women™ Luncheon.
The AHA will also collaborate with Elephant to bring monthly heart and brain health messages and awareness to their employees and customers throughout the year. Greg Minkler, Marketing Director at Elephant says, “We are honored to have the opportunity to raise awareness about heart diseases and stroke, the #1 killer of Americans, among our employees, our customers and the community.
“Social media is a major component of our communications strategies to effectively reach Richmonders with critical information on how to prevent and recognize heart diseases and stroke,” says Julie Taylor, Executive Director of the American Heart Association in Richmond, Virginia. “Thanks to Elephant’s support, we will now be able to reach thousands more in the community with our life saving messages.”
