Richmond, Va. (January 24, 2024) – Elephant Insurance today announced its relocation to a newoffice space on Park Central Drive in Richmond, Va. The move reflects the company’s transition to a remote work model in early 2021. It will also provide a space for in-person collaboration and team meetings.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Elephant was among the first employers in Richmond to embrace remote work. With notable agility, the company transitioned to a fully remote workforce of over 600 employees within a mere two weeks. This shift not only ensured the health and safety of employees during a critical time but also revealed the effectiveness of remote work arrangements.
Recognizing the benefits of both remote and in-office settings, Elephant empowers employees to choose the work environment that best suits their individual needs and preferences. The new office space will serve as a hub for employees who prefer an in-office environment as well as accommodate monthly Connected Days, a series of days each month to bring teams together for in-person connection and collaboration, a highly valued part of the culture at Elephant.
