How it works

With Legal Assistance you will receive 100% attorney fee coverage on the following services:

• Minor traffic violations, infractions, or misdemeanor traffic offenses once per policy term, such as a speeding ticket.
• Representation in connection with a first offense substance related traffic violation, such as a DUI. (Not available for subsequent offenses or additional services, terms and conditions may apply.)

Do I need a lawyer for a traffic ticket?

Without Legal Assistance Ticket Defense, standard lawyer fees (flat or hourly) for traffic violations can range from $150 – $1,500+ depending on the severity of the incident. This does not include underlying court or state-associated fees or fines.

Legal Resources can advise you on traffic infractions and misdemeanors such as speeding, reckless driving, and driving under the influence (first offense). When Legal Assistance is purchased, every driver on the policy will have access to attorney fee coverage for a minor traffic violation once per policy term.
