Car insurance student discounts
Tuition, textbooks, and transportation costs can add up for students — and their parents! Fortunately, we offer several ways to save when you have students on your policy. From earning a spot on the honor roll or heading off to college, we have discounts especially for students.
Good student discount
We offer a discount for full-time students under the age of 25 with a GPA of 3.0, or a B average, or better. A position on the Dean’s List, Honor Roll, or a ranking in the upper 20% of a national standardized test in the last year, such as the SAT or ACT, are also accepted as demonstration of being a good student. Student away at school discount
If a student is living at school without a car and the school is more than 100 miles from the insured’s address, we offer a discount because it means they will be driving less frequently. The student will still be listed on the policy to allow them to be covered while visiting home.

Does the student away at school discount also apply to a student in (military) basic training?
