Elephant Auto Insurance and Kellyn Acosta to deliver 50 soccer packages to Chester Strickland Middle School in Denton
FC Dallas and U.S. National Team player Kellyn Acosta on hand to assist delivering soccer supplies to local youth soccer players
FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, Dec. 13) – Elephant Auto Insurance, make good on its pledge to deliver a soccer package to Denton GOAL for every time FC Dallas scored during the 2016 regular season (50), this Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Chester Strickland Middle School in Denton.
FC Dallas Homegrown player, Kellyn Acosta – a former local youth soccer player turned professional, will assist Elephant in delivering the soccer packages, which will include a ball, shin guards and goalkeeper gloves. The drop-off will be at 3:30 p.m. at Chester Strickland Middle School (324 East Windsor Drive, Denton, TX. 76209).
Acosta personally accounted for two goals and five assists in Major League Soccer play in 2016. The team scored 50 goals for the ninth time in franchise history, just five goals off the club record of 55, which occurred in the 1997 and 2014 seasons.

GOAL (Guys & Girls Operating as Leaders) is a leadership program that began in the Denton Independent School District in 2008 with the intention to invest in the second language learning and at-risk students.
